styled with green + ivory florals.

If you’re looking to celebrate your summer wedding in Gloucestershire, then The Great Tythe Barn should not be overlooked. The Great Tythe Barn provides a quaint Cotswold setting which showcases rustic beauty in its lovingly restored converted barn, as well as its countryside greenery and well kept grounds. Set among the rolling hills of Gloucestershire, The Great Tythe Barn is a popular Cotswold wedding venue, and the perfect choice for those looking to celebrate alongside their nearest and dearest.

Emma and Rich went for a personalised, heartfelt ceremony, where tears were rolling and tissues were certainly needed. Guests were invested, and the love between Emma and Rich was evident in every word spoken. Their ceremony certainly set the tone for their elegant, joy filled wedding.

To follow: An epic confetti exit, champagne and nibbles, lawn games, live music, aeroplane flyover, heartfelt speeches, incredible food, a gorgeous golden sunset, fire pits, live band, cocktails, sparklers, lots of dancing, photobooth, cake and more.

The Great Tythe Barn was showered in amazing green foliage with subtle ivory florals, warmed through with thousands of twinkly fairy lights. Their décor, colour scheme and overall style was kept refined and elegant, showing an overall chic and classy vibe. The bridesmaids matched the fresh florals, with the refined ivory and green details being incorporated into the stationary, as well as the cake. Fire pits set a cosy atmosphere as the sun set, and the evening rolled in. I could have spent hours photographing such a gorgeous wedding set up!

To top off a fantastic day, Emma and Rich danced through a sparkler exit, which had everyone smiling from ear to ear.  An incredible way to kick start their Great Tythe Barn wedding party.  An opportunity for magical photographs that was not to be missed. These two were a complete joy to photograph throughout their Great Tythe Barn celebrations. Always so lovely, happy to go with the flow, and importantly they allowed me the freedom to capture their story in the beautiful way it deserved.

All in all, Emma and Rich created a Cotswold wedding which was thoughtful towards all their guests, inclusive of their rural surroundings, with a nod to their own personalities through subtle touches too. A seamless balance of love, fun, friends, and family. Exactly as a wedding celebration should be.

This Great Tythe Barn wedding was an absolute pleasure to capture. It’s such a gorgeous venue and I’m so excited to be back there soon. In the meantime, please enjoy the story of Emma & Rich's special celebrations.
